Chocolate Orange Cheesecake

2 c. Light 'N Lively lo-fat cottage cheese
3 (8 oz.) containers light cream cheese product
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
4 eggs
1/3 c. skim milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

orange sauce:
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 egg whites
2 tsp. finely shredded orange peel
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
2 oranges, sectioned


Place cottage cheese in blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Transfer to large mixing bowl. Add light cream cheese, sugar, cocoa and flour. Beat with electric mixer on medium speed just until blended. Add eggs and whites; beat on low speed just until blended. Do not overbeat. Add skim milk, orange peel and vanilla. Turn into ungreased 9-inch springform pan.

Bake in 375 degrees oven for 1 hour or until set. Cool for 15 minutes. Loosen sides of cheesecake from pan with spatula. Cool 30 minutes more; remove sides of pan. Transfer cheesecake to tray. Chill at least 2 hours.

Top with orange sauce. Chill several hours or overnight. Before serving, arrange orange sections over cheesecake. Garnish with fresh cherries, if desired. Makes 18 servings. Calories per serving:

Orange Sauce: In saucepan combine 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Stir in 1 cup orange juice. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Cool before spreading on cheesecake.
