1 package quick rising yeast
1/4 cup warm water
3 cups flour
2 Tbl. sugar
1 Tbl. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup skim milk
1/3 cup applesauce (if you use the jar of step two baby applesauce it is exactly 1/3 cup and you won't waste a whole jar)
1 1/2 cup apples peeled and minced
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup Butter Buds

Spray two 9" cake pans with nonstick spray. Set aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Pour yeast into warm water and stir to combine. Let stand 10 minutes.

Meanwhile combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt and mix well. Mix milk and applesauce with yeast mixture. Add to flour mixture and stir just enough to hold dough together. Place on floured surface and knead just 10 to 12 times.

Roll out to 1/4 inch rectangle. Mix apples cinnamon and brown sugar together. Spread dough with the applesauce mixture and roll up jelly roll fashioned. Using unwaxed floss cut the roll in half and then in half again, and then in half again, until you have 12 (1 inch thick) pieces.

Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup reconstitued butter buds. Pour half of this mixture into each pan and place 6 rolls in each pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes until browned and done. Immediately turn upside down onto dinner plate. Serve warm.
