Print this entryI was going to put these under the June recipes, but didn’t want them to be overlooked. This is a fantastic recipe, easy but who cares when it’s this good. You won’t regret making them. Best Ever Cinnamon Rolls Purchase Rhodes frozen Cinnamon Rolls (don’t fret, we’re going to jack them up.). Your family will be asking for these again soon! Also purchase a box of COOK vanilla pudding, the small size. The night before, spray your 13″x9″ baking dish with cooking spray. Separate the cinnamon rolls and lay them in a single layer in the dish (reserve icing package that comes with rolls). Sprinkle the UNPREPARED vanilla pudding over the frozen rolls. Melt one stick of butter or margarine and pour it over the rolls. Spray a sheet of plastic wrap lightly with cooking spray (I lay it over the baking dish and spray, then pick it up and turn it over so spray side is down) then cover the rolls tightly and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, remove the thawed rolls and let set on counter for 45-60 minutes until doubled in volume. Bake at 350* for 15-20 minutes until light golden. (I baked for 28 minutes, my oven runs low) Spread icing and serve.

Print this entryHas anyone tried the chicken and dumpling recipe for the crock pot? It’s the one where you use Pillsbury Grands pop out biscuits and cut them up. Then you add them to the cooked chicken and broth, cover and let cook for another hour. What I want to know is, do they get doughy inside or fluffy on the inside and gooey and the outside, which is how I like them. Thanks.

Print this entryJust can’t wait to try these! I got this recipe from Pinterest today. Heading to the grocery store to get the stuff to make them now! Sugar Cookie Cheesecake Bars 1 (17.5 oz) pouch sugar cookie mix 1 (4 serving size) box French Vanilla Instant Pudding 2 Tbsp packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup butter, melted (1 stick) 3 tsp vanilla 2 whole eggs + 3 egg yolks 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, room temperature 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup granulated sugar *optional ~ 2/3 cup toffee bits, pulverized in blender or food processor Preheat oven to 350° Spray a 9×13 baking pan with cooking spray. In a medium bowl mix cookie mix, pudding mix, brown sugar, melted butter, 1 tsp vanilla and 1 whole egg with a spoon…when dough started coming together I used my hands to knead it. Press the cookie dough into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the prepared pan. In a large bowl, using hand or stand mixer, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, the remaining whole egg and three yolks and 2 tsp vanilla until smooth and creamy. Spread the cream cheese mixture over top the cookie base. Bake for 25-30 minutes until center is set. While bars are baking pulverize your toffee bits in blender or food processor. Sprinkle on bars immediately upon removing from oven. Let cool on wire rack 30-45 minutes and then cover and transfer to refrigerator to continue cooling for at least 3 hours or overnight. Store in refrigerator.
