Print this entryI think I must be a slow learner, but let me see what I can do… These are called ‘granola bars from the Tasty Kitchen’, (found them while playing on Pinterest) and they’re DELICIOUS, but not what I think of as granola. GRANOLA BARS FROM THE TASTY KITCHEN Heat in a sm saucepan over med heat: . 1/3 c. coconut oil . 1/2 c. peanut butter (crunchy is great!) . 1/3 c. honey When that is thoroughly combined and the peanut butter is melted add: . 1-1/2 c. old fashioned oats . 1/3 c. chocolate chips Stir until the choc chips are pretty well melted, then allow to cool for about 30 minutes. Stir in: . 1/3 c. Peanut Butter chips or Butterscotch chips Spread into a lined 8×8″ pan. Refrigerate until completely set. Cut into squares. Store in fridge.
