Mom’s on a downward curve, son had work related injury and now my sweet little angel Eva (my son’s 3 year old daughter) has just been diagnosed with diabetes. Woof!!  Thank goodness for this site.  We don’t know if she needs insulin or if it can be diet controlled.  We only got the diagnosis 20 minutes ago.

You have to answer with the first name that comes to mind, male or female.  The first one I thought of was Llyod Robertson CBC national news anchor.

Reading sweets post put an idea in my head.  Why and when did you all join Mimi’S?  I joined in 1998 because I was looking for a good latke recipe, one with really detailed instructions.  I love them but mine always turned out to be  crumbling in the pan or so soggy they were just…blah!  So in I came, found the best recipe and here I stayed.
