The crackling from a roast ham sooo delish but i’ve been good lately i peel and eat a little piece and then bite the bullet and throw it away. Oh the humanity!! <3
Hi Sherry, another good topic. For me chocolate and bacon do rank fairly high but that only happens occaisionally. However, I cannot tolerate either of them anymore. Although something made with cocoa powder seems to be OK. For me, it’s the humble potato that’s difficult to resist. Any which way you want to make it…baked, scalloped, fried, boiled, deep fried or just a bag of chips. No skins though; major YUCK and it doesn’t agree with my tummy at all. I’ll take potatoes over just about anything. I don’t understand it but that’s OK. I don’t need to understand it.
Becky, speaking of waking up in the middle of the night – a few nights ago, I woke up in the middle of the night after having a good/bad dream.
The good: I ate a decadent deep dark chocolate cake with a decadent deep dark creamy filling. It was delicious!
The bad: I ate the WHOLE cake, plus half a second cake! And I was very worried about gaining weight – Duh!
Oh Meryl, you made me laugh! Glad to know I’m not the only one who dreams food. Now I will probably start craving a chocolate cake – could you share? LOL
Ditto…..ugh! Blasted chocolate! Needing to shed a few pounds with a chocolate addiction is a deadly combination!
Bacon. I’d eat bacon wrapped in bacon if DW wouldn’t get mad at me for it.
No question, for me it is CHOCOLATE!!

I thought my answer would be chocolate, hands down, but then Pepe mentioned bacon. Now I can’t decide!
Chocolate for me too! If I even read the word I immediately want some NOW!

I woke up in the middle of the night craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! Guess what I ate today? LOL

Oh, I should have mentioned that I ate the 1 1/2 cakes in my dream, not in reality!

I wish I could duplicate the one in my dream – unfortunately, the recipe didn’t come with it! LOL
So now it is our ‘duty’ at Mimi’s to find that recipe to make your dreams come true!
Absolutely!
