A special bonus tree picture
Every year since 1917 the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia sends a tree donated from someone’s yard to the city of Boston as a thanks for the help received during the aftermath of the horrendous Explosion in the harbour when the Imo a Belgian cargo ship hit the Mont Blanc a French muniton ship which was illegally overloaded. The collision resulted in the worst man made explosion to date. This year the tree was delivered from a little town called Jordon Bay about 180 miles from Halifax.
Just thinking what an amazing trip it would be to travel and see each of these trees lighted in person. That would definitely be a super WOW! Thanks again so much for posting these ABBE. Really enjoying checking them out!
