My Ornament Arrived!!

Author: My ornament arrived today just when I needed it most! I have a very sick little girl that I had to send off with her dad this weekend, and was upset not to be able to keep her home and care for her myself. Along with my ornament canned a beautiful set of heavy metal measuring spoons that are decorated with hearts and say Made With Love on the Spoons. Each handle has a cute saying about joy, laughter, love and kindness and they each have a red heart at the top! I absolutely love them and believe it or not, I was in need of a new set of measuring spoons! My ornament is a s’mores ornament. The marshmallow snowman is a fisherman in a boat made of graham crackers. I lost my dad to cancer this year and he was a big fisherman, and things like this make me think he is watching over me. So a great big thank you to Intrepedgal for bringing tears to my eyes and for bringing me a huge smile on an otherwise rough morning. This was exactly what I needed and I cannot thank you enough for that. ferret big Merry Christmas to you and yours. Love, Heather

Whoops… Came, not canned… and A great, not ferret. This is what I get for posting via cell phone.
Intrepedgal I was on the phone with Heather when she opened the mailbox and saw the package, and her spirits lifted. After opening she did not tear up…she cried!!! I asked why and she said they were so nice and it was so thoughtful what she picked out for me. I really needed this today. Thank you Val again for doing this, sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference and make us smile!
I shed a few tears myself reading both your posts. Heather I am so glad you liked everything and praise to God for using me to get you what you needed when you needed it!!! I will be in prayer for your little girl!!! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

You are VERY welcome Intrpidgirl you The gifts meant more to her than you could imagine. I think God did use you as she asked for spoons for Christmas but that Smore’s ornament she will treasure a life time, it has true maning to her. Thanks!

Wow, this makes it all worthwhile. I had been debating whether or not to continue doing this, but after reading this…I will. Two strangers touched bonded by an ornament. That is so special. Thanks Yankeette! Just to clear the air though, my dad was Mom’s ex husband. My step dad is alive and well! Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!
