Ornament exchange
Wow!! I just opened my Christmas Ornament package. I received a knitted stocking with the initial A on it and inside a snowman ornament, also one saying Paris with the Eiffel Tower. Two pretty red and white snowman dish towels and two little packages of Lindor chocolate truffles. What a fun time I had this afternoon. Thank you Hmarx and thank you Yankette for all your work with this ornament exchange. Merry Christmas to all!!
oh my, a Wilton cookie cuter Santa’s head, a really nice bright Christmas red had towel with Ho ho ho embroidered on it with hat and boots implying Santa Claus and a recipe for Amish sugar cookies. I’m going to make those for my annual Times Square new year and the party at the grand parade in Halifax on the boob tube all snuggled in my quilt with hot chocolate and cookies maybe a little “something’ in the hot chocolate ;D
Whoops i submitted before i finished my thanks to Becky for the wonderful gift and wishing her the happiest Christmas she could have at her house this year. Thank you Val for doing this again this year and I hope you won’t get discouraged with the glitches that befell you and will continue this fun tradition.
Glad you liked your Santa cookie cutter, recipe and towel. I have made the cookie recipe and they are yummy! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I just to make sure credit is given to Beck, as we know her around here. She is the “Becky” who participated in the exchange. I wasn’t able to this year and I want to make sure she is credited for her great gift.
Aw thanks Becky! That was nice of you to say this. Sorry you couldn’t join, hope all is well, maybe next year. Have a Merry Christmas!!
Finally, I got to open it! It’s been sitting here for a few weeks teasing me! It sure was worth the wait….you should see this cute little mouse ornament. He’s reclining on top of the words Merry Christmas, has a Santa hat on, and his little tail goes down the back. Cute! Cute! Cute! I can’t wait to take it show Mom. She will love it without a doubt. There is also the most beautful angel ornament with the word wish on it. She has like dull silver hair, wings that shimmer and an inset in the front of her angelic robe, which is kind of a linen look. The silver color then has the words to Silent Night engraved in the same color of silver. She holds a tiny little dangling star. She is totally beautiful. Anaab, thank you so much! I love them both! Also, thank you Val for making this possible. It is really such a fun thing to do, and I hope everyone else’s ornament packages have made it or will make it very soon. Merry Christmas to everyone!
Thank you, Kim from Louisiana, for the two cute snowman ornaments. I have many ornaments and none are like the ones I received. One is a snowman hanging on a christmas ornament with Merry Christmas written across the ball. The other is a snowman with the body being a bell. Welcome to the ornament exchange, thank you Val for doing it again this year.
SherryPA, I am SO GLAD you got and loved your ornaments!!! I saw that you liked mice and thought “where am I going to find a mouse ornament?!?!” then bam! I went shopping and saw one right away so I knew it was meant to be
I’m so happy you enjoyed them
I wish we could post pics!

Oh I wish I could see the Eiffel tower and Paris ornaments! Those sound so lovely!
The Eiffel tower is so neat and has happy memories for me as when my husband was stationed in Germany in the 50′s and I was with him we took a trip to Paris and went to the top of the Eiffel tower. Great times
