Post Game Wrap Up or Thanksgivings over
This morning as I stared at a huge turkey it came to me that Thanksgiving is sort of the Super Bowl of cooking. So how did your game day go?
Mine was exhausting but great. Turkey was moist and delicious. The highlight though were the side dishes. Fiercy’s sweet potato casserole was a big hit especially with the college kids. They inhaled Sherry’s crockpot dressing which I made with vegetable broth. We also has baked delica squash, corn casserole, green beans, potatoes and a cheesy broccoli dish. I has three vegetarian eaters so wanted to be sure they could enjoy everything but the turkey.
We had a lot to be thankful for this year. Health, good friends, a safe home where no one is bombing us. It made the food taste even better I think. Happy belated Thanksgiving all.

glad to hear (actually read of course) that the Fiery Sweet Potatoes were a hit. I made mine with 2 heaping tbsp of red curry and they were just right for us. I was surprised that even the non-spicy foods people liked them
We had a great T-day hope yours was too

Gina, Your Thanksgiving feast sounds wonderful! Nothing to report here as the cook was sick as a dog for a couple of days before Thanksgiving. We went out, which was lovely really. We ran into some other friends too which made it extra nice seeing everyone plus my Mom with us.
Fruffy, so glad your day went well too!
Hopefully I don’t mess up all of the Christmas plans with picking up anything else. So disappointing. Now I need to look back and find that Fiery Sweet Potato recipe to be sure I’ve saved it! Thank you!
