I use the milk and vinegar combination all the time. Works great.

Thanks for the tip about the heavy cream. Wonder if it can be whipped?

I didn’t know that about a substitute for heavy cream either nor about saco buttermilk powder…thank you! Lemon juice mostly gets used here to make the buttermilk substitute

I like saco buttermilk powder and use it often. I have used the vinegar substitution and it does work well.
