I am making Almond Butter Toffee this year and for the life of me I can’t think of an oil to use to prepare the pan that won’t mask the flavour of the almonds.  Help anybody? The recipe just tells me to ‘oil the pan”.

I’ve been trying to add recipes to my RC and I keep getting a message “recipe not found” when I click save.  Is anyone else having problems?

I got one recipe to go in but that’s all.

I'm making dinner for a very "meat and potatoes" kind of family in a couple of weeks and I need an good idea for a potato side dish.  They are all very picky and mostly just eat mashed potatoes - but I am tired of mashed!  The last time they were over I made a cheesy scalloped potato, but there were a lot of leftovers so I'd like to try something else.   Gotta be simple though... I received mine yesterday and my fingers are just itching.

 

This morning as I stared at a huge turkey it came to me that Thanksgiving is sort of the Super Bowl of cooking.   So how did your game day go? Mine was exhausting but great.  Turkey was moist and delicious.  The highlight though were the side dishes.  Fiercy's sweet potato casserole was a big hit especially with the college kids.  They inhaled Sherry's crockpot dressing which I made with vegetable Read more [...]

My Safeway seems to be out of this cake mix. Can i use one that calls for oil but add the butter instead like with this cake mix?
