I don’t think I can survive
Mom’s on a downward curve, son had work related injury and now my sweet little angel Eva (my son’s 3 year old daughter) has just been diagnosed with diabetes. Woof!! Thank goodness for this site. We don’t know if she needs insulin or if it can be diet controlled. We only got the diagnosis 20 minutes ago.
So sorry to hear about all of these problems. Any one of them is bad news and to get 3 at the same time must be awful. Hang in there and try to find some me time doing whatever gives you peace. I’ll thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.
Oh my goodness, you have so much to deal with at this moment. I can’t even imagine how stressed you must feel right now.
Be assured, you and your family are in our prayers and as Fruffy said, try to do something that helps you feel some peace.
Oh ABBE, Talk about a triple whammy. Just saw this. Please know that you are in my prayers right now and will continue to be. Keep us posted. It’s so hard when it’s the adults, but the little ones do so touch our hearts even more I think. I know 100% God is there. Keep the faith. Love to you and yours always….
(((((((ABBE))))))) My heart and prayers are going out to you and your family.
Little Eva went through a battery of tests today. Lots of needle pricks, not one whimper, and she hates needles Sweet little munchkin Son just called with the results She does need insulin and definite diet changes but there is optimism that maybe since they caught it early and are to treat it aggressively she may “grow out” of it?
YES!!! We MUST all be praying for that little dear to grow out of it! Is it ok if I put that on our church prayer list and into our prayer chest that gets prayed over every service?
oh my Sherry, that would be so wonderful. All prayers are gratefully received.
Done! Sending Pastor a note right now, and I’ve already been on prayer duty since reading this yesterday…
So glad there is a chance she can grow out of it! We will definitely keep her in our prayers.
I am determined to get back on and contribute to this board!
your post ABBE, just touched me. Prayers for you and your family and especially for your sweet little girl! I will add her to our prayer roll also.
Abbenanny, that sure is a lot to shoulder in such a short time. Prayers for all your family and you especially. Stay strong, dear.
Oh Abbenanny, bless your heart!!! As an elementary teacher I have seen kids grow out and manage their diabetes to where it is much easier for them to live a normal life. Do keep us posted on how things go… and all fronts in your life right now.
