Pet Peeves

Author: At the moment I’m peeved because few, if any, companies jar their products in jars that can be reused for canning purposes like they used to. In my mind that is far better recycling! Or Hellman’s now using plastic…..grrr….

Thank goodness I saved a couple of the Best Food jars big and small which I still use for various things.
I don’t understand why the jars have changed either. It is aggravating when we can’t reuse them.
Another pet peeve – food is coming in smaller sized containers but we are paying higher prices.
There are some products in Sobey’s. their brand (the store was founded a small town in Nova Scotia). here that the bottles can be reused. The lids are plain so changing labels is made easy.
