Usually when I make fajitas, I buy the boxed kit. Does anyone have a recipe for just the dry ingredients that you add to chicken or steak?
Usually when I make fajitas, I buy the boxed kit. Does anyone have a recipe for just the dry ingredients that you add to chicken or steak?
This is the recipe I have in my files (I haven’t tried it yet):
FAJITA SEASONING
4 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 teaspoon ground oregano
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an airtight container. No refrigeration needed,
Makes scant 1/2 cup.
( use about 2 – 3 tbsp of it in place of the store bought packets.
