I’m still here, but uninspired to post anything, since it’s like a desert here. The traffic seems to be getting slower and slower and slower.
I’m still here. Just don’t got much to say right now. Check here everyday though. Working a mid shift right now. Throws everything a bit off.

I’m guilty of checking in but not posting. Guess the summer blahs got to me. Nothing tastes that good in this heat! Sorry, I’ll try to do better. I’d hate for this site to disappear–you all are so nice!
I have had a lot of trouble with the new format and login. But hope to do better.
My husband who had been ill for the last year passed away in March and I have had to take care of the computer stuff that he always did.
I miss seeing your posts and hopefully, have the login and format to a managable state.
at least, if I can login, I can ask JB questions on the tech stuff.
And yes, the Olympics are really keeping me on my toes cheering on the athletes:)
I made Mimi’s chile Cornbread salad for a pot luck. It is a sure fire hit and because it is served cold it is also good for HOT weather. I made the cornbread first thing in the morning before the air turns on.

I have had a lot of family stuff going on so haven’t been able to be here too much. Hopefully we’ll get more action going as summer activities slow down.
Sure am glad to see you all here! There are still more of you out there, and I sure hope you make it back soon. The hot weather sure does sap the energy…
Paula, I’m so sorry about your loss. That is a tough one. My Mom and some other friends are traveling that same road. God bless and help you..it is so difficult. Also,the cornbread salad is a good idea. I had almost forgotten about that one, and it’s always a hit.

We’ve been staying up watching the Olympics too…and racing around. I was to be gone until the end of the week but complications have arisen. Namely, the water pump in Mom’s house quit and has to be replaced. So going back for these days to continue the clean up and clean out task is once again on hold….At least my uncle called and caught me as I was just pulling out our driveway…never a dull moment
I’m here, too–off and on. I looked (and found) Sue Freeman’s Creamy Spinach and Tortellini recipe. I had lost the recipe and I have had rave reviews of it. I will post it as a new post, in case anyone is interested in it. Very yummy!
Does anyone know if Sue is o.k.? She hasn’t been here for a very long time.
