Author: Here I was feeling all clever and then I did some research on blueberry recipes and found one for Blueberry “coulis” and blueberry syllabub and it turns out that my coolee is sort of a blend of the both. LOL still tastes delish anyway.

ABBE, You are clever! You did it yourself, those others just copied you!!! I bought two more quarts of blueberries. Now to figure out what I’m going to do with them later today.
Abbe, you are very creative. Just because there are similar recipes doesn’t mean they are as good.

i just found out the graveyard where I used to be able to pick quarts of free wild berries has been dedicated a ‘historical site” and it was cleaned of all the ‘weeds” Mmmrrr weeds indeed. Buying them now at $4.00 a pint! Darn it all one pie takes two pints. I can get one at the bakery for $2.99 or so but that’s no fun.
Even the U Picks are pricey and difficult for me to get to.
Oh, that’s expensive. I haven’t checked in the last week or so but I got a pint for $1.29 a couple of weeks ago.
I think I’ll bite the bullet and buy several pints and freeze them or even buy them already frozen. Still not a much fun as finding that perfect spot and picking to your hearts content, “one for the bucket, two for me”
