Hearty Beef Stew

1 lb. beef stew meat
1 tbs. oil
12 oz. small red potatoes, quartered ( about 2 cups)
4 medium carrots, sliced
10 oz. can cream of mushroom or celery soup
1/2 cup beef broth
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 (9 oz.) pkg frozen cut green beans


Brown meat in oil. Place meat, potatoes and carrots in crockpot.

Combine all but green beans and mix into crockpot. Stir in green beans Cook on low for 8-10 hours
