Lazy Day Stew

2 lbs. beef stew meat, cubed
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 cup sliced carrots
2 medium onions, chopped
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 (10 3/4 oz.)can tomato, cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
1 large potato, cubed
1 small bay leaf (optional)


Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.

Mix all ingredients; place in casserole with tight-fitting lid. Bake at 275 degrees for 5 hours.
