1 pkg. (3 oz.) fruit flavored gelatin (whatever flavor you like)
2 Tblsp. butter
1/3 cup light corn syrup
4 cups Cheerios cereal
Butter a 9-inch square pan.
In large saucepan blend gelatin (dry mix), corn syrup and butter. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in Cheerios until well coated. Pour into buttered pan and press down with back of a buttered spoon. Cool in refrigerator 30 minutes, then cut into squares.
