Crackers: Cheese Biscuits

1 cup flour
2 cups grated extra sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup butter of margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Pecans for garnish
Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Divide dough in half and shape each half into a 10 inch cylinder.
Chill over night.
Slice into 1/4 inch slices and place on greased cookie sheet. Place a pecan half on top of each slice. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or just until golden. Do not over bake or they will burn.
The cylinders may be frozen and thawed before slicing and baking...They freeze well after baking also.
Yield 6 dozen.
