Big Mama's Barbecue Sauce

Big Mama’s Barbecue Sauce
1 cup tomato sauce
4 cups catsup
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup water
1 tsp. liquid smoke
1 cup maple or corn syrup
2 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 Tbl. sugar
1/2 cup steak sauce
2 Tbl. seasoned salt
1 cup cola
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp. red pepper, optional
Combine all ingredients in saucepan; mix well and bring to a boil stirring constantly to avoid scorching. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour stirring occasionally.
(Yield: 2 quarts)
