4 pounds beef roast, either chuck or eye round
2 packages Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix
2 cans beef broth
1 green pepper -- sliced
Place beef in crockpot. Sprinkle with dressing mix. Pour broth over beef and add peppers. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours. Remove beef and shred, return to juices. Freezes well.
Serving Ideas : Serve on hard crusty rolls with provolone cheese, roasted garlic and roasted red peppers.
