Southwest Beef and Chile Pizza

Southwest Beef and Chile Pizza 

1 lb. ground beef 
1 Boboli pizza shell 
1 1/4 cup mild thick salsa and make it chunky 
1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican cheeses or Monterey Jack 
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies, drained well 
2 medium plum tomatoes seeded and coarsely chopped 
1/3 cup thin red onion slivers 
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro 


Heat oven to 450° F. In large skillet brown ground beef until no longer pink, breaking up while frying.  Pour off drippings.  Season with 1/4 tsp. salt.
 
Place bread shell on ungreased baking sheet. Spread with salsa, sprinkle 
with 1/2 cheese. Top with beef, chilies, tomatoes, onion and remaining 
cheese. 

Bake for 11 to 13 minutes until cheese melts. Sprinkle with cilantro and 
serve.
