Swedish Apple Pie

4 Cups sliced
2 Tbl brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 Cup butter
Pinch salt
1 Cup sugar
1 egg
1 Cup flour
1/2 Cup chopped nuts


Preheat oven to 350.

Fill an 8 inch pie pan with apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

Cream butter, add sugar, and then add eggs; beat well. Add flour and salt; blend in nuts. Drop batter on top of apples and spread to cover.

Bake for 1 hr.

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
