Seasoned Coating Mix
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. instant granular chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. onion powder,
1/4 tsp. ground sage
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. paprika
1 1/2 tsp. oil
Blend together all dry ingredients; add oil and mix until well dispersed throughout mixture.
Use coating for chicken pieces, pork chops or fish.
Variations:
add 1/2 tsp. curry powder to mix or add 2 Tbl. sesame seeds or add 1/2 tsp. each sweet basil and oregano leaves, crushed or a little grated fresh or dried lemon peel to use on fish.
