Margie's Mother-in-Law's Kraut Salad

Since my mother-in-law passed away a year ago today, I thought I would post a couple of Granny's favorite recipes. She was a marvelous cook, made fantastic fried chicken, rolls, pies and cakes. Everyone loved it, when she was cooking. You knew you were in for a great meal.

A recipe that she loved was Kraut Salad.

1 can sauerkraut
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 chopped bell peper
1 small can pimentos
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. sugar (substitute Equal, if you need to)

Mix it all together and put in sealed jar or bowl. Keep in refrigerator 3 days before serving.
