Roasted Bear Meat
bear roast
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. savory salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. salt
bacon grease
Rub bear roast with vinegar and then dry with a cloth.
Rub with a mixture of bacon grease, poultry seasoning, salts and garlic.
Put meat in a Dutch oven or roaster with a little water. Cover tightly and roast at medium heat until tender.
