Beef: Southwestern Grilled Flank Steak

Southwestern Grilled Flank steak
from Weight Watchers Magazine

1 flank steak (1 1/2 lb. about 3/4 inch thick)
2 Tablespoons Hungarian sweet paprika
1 Tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cooking spray


Trim excess fat from meat. Combine paprika and next 4 ingredients; rub over both sides of steak. Place steak in a dish, cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hours.

Prepare grill. Place steak on grill rack coated with cooking spray, cover and grill 4 minutes on each side or til desired doneness. Remove steak from grill, let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

Cut steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
