Flanken: Chili Sauce Pot Roast

Chili Sauce Pot Roast

2 to 3 lb. deckle or flanken
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
6 onions, sliced
1 (12 oz.) jar chili sauce
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup sweet pickled onions


Brown onions in 3 tablespoons oil. Then brown meat in same oil. Add remaining ingredients. Cover pot and cook for about 3 hours on top of stove on low flame.
