Pork Roast with Sauerkraut

3 lb pork roast
salt and pepper
1 quart sauerkraut (bagged kind)
1 good sized cooking apple, peeled, and chopped
1 Medium onion, peeled, and chopped
2 c brown sugar
1 c apple juice
caraway seeds


Layer all of the above ingredients in the crock pot for 8-10 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes.
