1 Envelope Gelatin
1/4 Cup Cold Water
1/2 Cup Boiling Water
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Onion, finely grated
1 Dash Tabasco
1/4 Teaspoon Paprika
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Cups Poached Salmon
1 Cup Whipped Cream


Soften gelatin in cold water in a large mixing bowl. Stir in boiling water and whisk mixture slowly until gelatin dissolves. Cool to room temperature.

Whisk mayonnaise into gelatine mixture, along with lemon juice, grated onion, Tabasco, paprika and salt. Stir to blend completely and refrigerate for about 20 minutes, or until mixture begins to thicken slightly. Fold in finely flaked salmon.

In a separate bowl, whip cream to stiff peaks. Fold gently into salmon mixture.

Transfer mixture to 6-8 cup bowl or decorative mold. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours Serve with toast, black bread or crackers.
