Melvin's Coddies
3 lbs. boiled Rockfish or 3 (15 oz.) cans Gorton's Codfish
2 onions, chopped
1 green pepper, minced
1 1/2 c. mashed potatoes (instant potatoes can be used)
3 tbsp. dry mustard
3 c. bread crumbs or crushed saltines
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1 1/2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
3 eggs
Cracker meal
Saute onions and green pepper in butter. Combine all ingredients. Shape into coddies. Roll in cracker meal. Pan or deep fry.
