Crabmeat Stuffed Mushrooms
30-35 mushrooms, fresh
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. lump crabmeat, fresh or canned
3 Tblsp. green onions, finely minced
3 Tblsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
3 Tblsp. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 Tblsp. dry sherry
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350° F. and lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Wash and clean mushrooms.
Use a teaspoon to remove stem from mushroom cap and either discard or use later in another dish.
In a large bowl, blend together all ingredients except mushrooms.
Fill mushroom caps with crabmeat mixture.
Top each mushroom with additional bread crumbs.
Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes.
Place under broiler until lightly browned. Serve hot.
