Honey Bread Pudding

Honey Bread Pudding
2 2/3 c day old bread cubes
1/4 c liquid honey
2 tbsp butter or margarine
1 2/3 c hot milk
1/8 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
nutmeg optional
Place bread cubes in a small baking dish. Combine the honey, butter, salt, eggs and vanilla. Slowly stir in the milk. Pour liquid mixture over the bread cubes. sprinkl with nutmeg if desired.
Set the baking dish in a pan of hot water and bake for 30 to 40 min. at 350 degrees until pudding is set. 4 servings.
