Cheese: Olive Filled Cheese Balls

posted by techgoddess 08-20-101 3:18 PM

Olive Filled Cheese Balls

1/2 lb. softened sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
2 tblsp. soft butter
1/2 cup flour
Dash cayenne
25 large stuffed green olives, well drained

Preheat oven to 400 deg.

Put cheese and butter in blender container; cover and run on high until smooth. Add flour and cayenne; cover and run on low until blended. If necessary, stop blender during processing and push ingredients toward blades with a rubber spatula. Push the cheese mixture out of container onto a sheet of waxed paper. Wrap about 1 tblsp. of the mixture around each olive, completely covering it. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve hot. Makes 25 balls.
