Hearty Beef Stew

1 lb beef stew meat
1 tbs oil
12 oz small red potatoes, quartered (about 2 cups)
4 medium carrots, sliced
10 oz can cream of mushroom or celery soup
1/2 c beef broth
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 (9 oz) pkg frozen cut green beans


Brown meat in oil. Place above in crock pot with meat. Combine all but green beans and mix into crockpot. Stir in green beans. cook on low for 8-10 hours
