"Jiffy" Golden Yellow cake mix box

Chewy Bars
(makes about 2 dozen squares)

1 (9 oz) Yellow cake mix
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 tbls. Butter
1 tbls. Corn syrup
1/4 cup Chocolate chips
1/2 cup Chopped nuts
1 Egg
1 tbls. Water
2 tbls. Flour


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8 X 8 X 2 inch pan

In a small bowl blend together all ingredients well. Spread in the prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
