Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 (18.25 oz.) box yellow cake mix without pudding -- (such as Duncan HinesŪ)
1/3 cup butter -- melted
1 large egg -- lightly beaten
1 (10 oz) bag SkorŪ butter toffee chips -- or a 7.5 oz. pkg. almond brickle chips
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup chopped pecans -- or more to taste


Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine 1st 3 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring well. Press mixture into bottom of a 13x9 pan.

Combine chips, condensed milk, and pecans; spreaad over crust in pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven, and let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Yield: "2 dozen"
