APPLE CAKE
3 Apples Peeled, cored and sliced
3 Tablespoons sugar
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp vanilla
Peel, core and slice three apples. Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
Into a bowl, sift dry ingredients.
Gradually stir in oil, eggs, juice and vanilla.
Beat until smooth. Pour 1/2 mixture into greased tube pan.
Arrange 1/2 of apples on to of the batter. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the cinammon and repeat the layer.
Bake at 325 for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool for a few hours.
