1 (14 oz.) can baked beans
2 tbsp. dark brown sugar -- firmly packed
2 tbsp. molasses
1 3/4 tsp. rib seasoning
2 1/2 tbsp. barbecue sauce
2 dashes liquid smoke flavoring
In a cast-iron pot, combine beans, brown sugar, molasses, rib seasoning, barbecue sauce, and liquid smoke.
Cook on the grill, stirring occasionally, until hardened "crust" forms on top of beans (approx 20 minutes).
Serves 4
