Bread: Garlic Parmesan Crisps

GARLIC PARMESAN CRISPS

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
4 pita breads (6 inches)
3-4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic and basil until well blended. Let stand for one hour.

Split each pita in half to make 2 rounds. Spread each with butter mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Cut each round into 6 wedges. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes or until crisp and lightly golden. WATCH CAREFULLY!

Serve with a sour cream and herb dip. Yields 4 dozen.
