Pastry: Fresh Fruit Strudel - pareve

Serves 8-10

Packaged strudel dough (or phyllo)
1/3 cup melted margarine
4 Tbs. orange marmalade
4 cups fresh fruit (peaches, pears, apples, plums or nectarines)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup matzah meal or bread crumbs
egg or oil

Roll out dough according to directions. Sprinkle dough with melted margarine
and marmalade, then add fruit, sugar, cinnamon, almonds and matzah meal or
crumbs. Roll as directed. Put into a lightly greased pan, brush with diluted
egg or a bit of oil and bake in a 350-degree oven about an hour or until golden.
