Turkey Chili, Slow Cooker - meat

1 lb. ground turkey, browned in about 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and
crumble with a wooden spoon to break up the pieces until small and
cooked through. Drain the oil and any remaining juices., adding the
turkey to the slow cooker.
Add the following:
1 cup rough cut/chopped onion,
4 teaspoons of chilli powder,
1 1/2 teasp. salt,
1/2 teasp. oregano,
1/4 teasp. pepper,
1/4 teaspoon cumin,
1 crushed clove of garlic,
1- 16 oz. can crushed tomatoes,
1- 8 oz. can of tomato sauce,
1- 15 1/2 oz. can of white Northern or Kidney beans,
whatever your preference, but well drained.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hrs. serve over hot rice or macaroni if
desired. 6 servings.
