4 chicken legs (thighs and drumsticks)
salt, freshly ground black pepper
1 egg, lightly beaten
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sesame seeds
2 tsp. paprika
oil for frying
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rub chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Beat the
egg with 1/2 cup water in a shallow bowl.
Combine flour, sesame seeds, paprika and salt to taste in a plastic bag,
Place the chicken pieces, 2 or 3 at a time, in the egg mixture, and then in
the plastic bag. Close and shake until the chicken is nicely coated with the
sesame seed mixture. Repeat with the remaining pieces of chicken.
In hot but not smoking oil, brown the chicken pieces on both sides. Transfer
to a baking sheet, set on the middle shelf of the preheated oven and bake for
about 20 minutes.
