KC: Turkey Meatloaf, Wendy's - meat

Posted by : Wendy Baker

assembles in 10 minutes

For four to five servings-easily doubled

1 lb ground turkey
1 onion
1/2 to 1 greenpepper (depends on size)
1 small or egg tomato
8 oz tomato sauce (I use my own homecanned no salt-no sugar chili sauce
from the Ball canning blue book
1 egg or 2 egg whites
freshly ground black pepper
Worcestershire sauce to taste (there are brands without fish)
1/2 C bread crumbs or home made cornflake crumbs (or to taste)

Process the onion, greenpepper and tomato in a food processor to chopped
consistancy. Mix everything together and put in a pan. Cook in a 425 oven
for about 45 minutes or until you think it's done. Serve and enjoy. The home
made chilisauce add a special flavor. You might try it with a mixture of a
tomato salsa and tomato sauce for more zing
