Chicken w/Mushrooms, Baked - meat

YOU WILL NEED

     Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
     Large Skillet
     Large baking dish preferably with cover
     3 pound frying chicken
     3 tablespoons margarine or vegetable oil
     1/2 teaspoon onion powder
     1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
     10 1/2 oz. can Manischewitz Condensed Clear Chicken Soup, undiluted
     1/4 pound mushrooms, diced
     3 tablespoons of water
     2 tablespoons Manischewitz Potato Starch

PREPARATION

     Cut chicken into quarters
     Heat the margarine or oil in large skillet
     Add chicken and saute until brown
     Place chicken in baking dish
     To the oil in the skillet add onion powder, garlic powder, and
     Condensed Soup.
     Blend water with Potato Starch until smooth
     Gradually add this mixture to soup mixture and cook, stirring
     constantly, until thickened.
     Add mushrooms and gravy to chicken.

BAKE

     Cover (use aluminum foil if pan has no cover)
     Bake in a moderate oven at 350 degrees F for one hour or until tender.
     Serves 3 or 4
