Haroset, Greek - pareve

(about 2 cups)

1/2 cup black currants, finely chopped
1/2 cup raisins, finely chopped
1/2 cup almonds or pine nuts, finely chopped
1/2 cup dates, finely chopped
2 tablespoons honey (optional)
sweet red wine 

Combine all ingredients, adding enough wine to make a paste.
