Cake: Icings, Passover - pareve

Passover Icing - Pareve

Ingredients:

1 egg white
1 c. sugar
1 med. apple grated

METHOD:

Beat egg white until stiff. Add sugar gradually. Fold in 
grated apple. Spread on cake.

Passover Boiled Choc. Frosting - Pareve

Ingredients:

1 c sugar
1/2 c water
4 oz. bittersweet choc., melted
1/4 tsp. vegetable oil

Method::

Boil sugar with water until it spins 6" to 8" thread (242*). 
Stir in melted choc. gradually, until icing is smooth. When 
icing coats a spoon evenly, beat in oil.

Passover Orange Icing -  Pareve

Ingredients:
1 c sugar
1/3 c orange juice
2 egg whites ,stiffly beaten

Method:

Combine sugar and juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil. 
Cook to 242* or until mixture spins a 6" to 8" thread. 
Slowly pour into stiffly beaten egg whites, beating 
constantly. Continue beating until mixture holds it's shape.
