Cake: Chocolate Mandarin Torte - dairy

3/4 lb butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 tablespoon orange liqueur
1/4 cup strong coffee
12 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips
6 large eggs
Raspberry sauce
fresh raspberries (optional)
orange slices
powdered sugar(optional)

Melt butter in a double boiler.  Add sugar, vanilla, orange juice,
orange liqueur and coffee.  Stir to blend. Add chocolate and stir well
until chocolate is melted. 

Remove from heat and whisk in eggs one at a time until incorporated.
Pour into 9-inch spring-form pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes set.

Refrigerate several hours. 

Serve cold with raspberry sauce. Garnish with raspberries, orange
slices and powdered sugar.
